Job Workshop Controller, Castle Hill

WORKSHOP CONTROLLER | CASTLE HILL HYUNDAI

Castle Hill Hyundai, a proud member of family-owned and operated Castle Hill Autos, is seeking a full-time Workshop Controller to join our team. This is an immediate start opportunity for a motivated individual looking to work in a leading Hyundai dealership.

Position Overview:
As our Hyundai Workshop Controller, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the workshop, allocating jobs to technicians to ensure efficiency, quality control, and top-notch customer service. Working closely with the team, you will be responsible for workshop flow and provide guidance and solutions on a variety of different mechanical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily tasks for the technicians

• Oversee technician productivity and efficiency

• Prioritise repair orders for timely completion

• Assist with technical problem-solving

• Ensure repair orders are completed correctly for warranty procedures

• Lead qualified technicians and apprentices to optimise service delivery

• Ensure all work meets Hyundai benchmarks

• Maintain a safe work environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• Relevant trade qualifications and hands-on automotive experience

• Previous Workshop Controller experience, preferably with Hyundai

• Solid understanding of mechanical repairs and servicing

• Ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team

• MVTC (Motor Vehicle Tradesperson Certificate) is essential

• ASCIS & AUVIS Licences desirable, but not essential

• Hold a current and valid driver licence

• High level of care, attention to detail, and pride in workmanship

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with all procedures and standards
